Sozo is a Greek word that in its fullest use means salvation, healing and deliverance. These are loaded words, but what do they mean for me? When we say ‘sozo’ we mean a way to pray and care for individuals that reaches to the heart of the pain and pulls the thorn. Sozo Ministry is a way for us to get to the hurt and bring some relief.
During a one time session, our team helps people to get un-stuck from the places where they are hurting or just don’t feel like they are growing in relationship to God.
The goal of Sozo Ministry is to help individuals get connected with God in a more meaningful way. Our practice is to use simple prayer tools to help remove misconceptions about God and ourselves that keep us from meaningful relationship. The ministry focuses on ‘heart’ wounds that may have become barriers to growing emotionally and spiritually.
The Sozo Ministry was birthed at Bethel Church in Redding. Our team ministers regularly during the week by appointment only. For information and an application for ministry, please e-mail hrcsozoministry@gmail.com.
